Two questions, for me and perhaps for you. What does it take for you to connect with Divinity?Do you believe you are living an Authentic life?Remember, there are no right answers, but there are bonus points for having personal insights that may result in positive change. PS I can only offer my words. The rest I need to navigate the mind field of my own mid life crisis. Yes, there are no vacations from spiritual challenges, not even a day. If you have enough mountains, you can move faith. Nuf said.
My response:
There is no doubt that I am living an Authentic Life. All the crap that I've put myself through serves a very important purpose: What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Right? I know I'm bordering on insanity (by certain people's perspectives) when I say that this life is Divine and everything that happens is for a purpose. I have always known that my purpose is to create something great. At one time maybe I thought that was some paintings. At this time I believe that it is some pile of words I'm putting together. And maybe it will never result in anything being published, maybe it will just be one monkey of the hundred monkeys that makes something change in this world. Whatever it is, I'm doing it and the mountains I make for myself give me the strength for this enormous challenge ahead.
As far as connecting with Divinity, isn't it funny that they mention that in steps two and three of the twelve step program? I choose as my "higher power" the potential, the possibility, the "higher me." My higher power is what I can be, what I am destined to be. I need to get this fucking disease of alcohol off of me and then I will connect with Divinity.
So, do I get any bonus points?
